I am a PHP developer with a year and a half experience in the field of Web development.I have tackled already with a lot of tricky tasks in the web at work, mostly by tweaking a open source huge system for creating tests for student, facing many standards such as QTI,RDF, custom framework solution etc. I have also experience with the Laravel Framework. At the beginning, I started doing some front-end work, learning HTML5,CSS3(advanced also animations), some Javascript. In this open-source project I faced so many new technologies for me such as the preproccessor SASS, tasks for bundling Javascript and CSS using GRUNT, the RequireJS framework for building modules. Jquery has been my first friend for DOM manipulation, and the system is using AJAX for basically every request ( changing only one area of the page, mostly like single page app). I have used both MySQL and Postgres. I really like developing myself further, reading pdf books about best practices, writing clean code, using design patterns, object oriented approaches. I love watching videos on laracasts.com, Jeffrey just explains everything simply but well enough to grasp the concept
