I am an experimental physicist, with previous experience as a professional database architect and software development. I have two bachelor degerees; one in computer science another in physics -- and one masters degree also in physics. I am a Native English speaker, originally from the United Kingdom. I have significant experience with National Instruments LabVIEW, having designed and implemented many complicated system control programs in this language; primarily to run experiments at a reserach facility. Before my physics career, I worked as a database analyst, constructing complex queries in MySQL/SQL. I've also designed and implemented small scale databases from scratch. Along with this, I also have experience in software development in a variety of languages, however most programming emphasis is on LabVIEW and C, C++. My experience as an experimental physicist has equipped me with a wide variety of skills. In particular mathematics, simulation, and designing experimental apparatus. I have significant experience and ability with Autodesk Inventor. I have also written many scientific reports and theses using LaTex and I often design my own layouts.
