Worked with SDI/MAPS (Sales Data Inc,. & Mid America Point of Sale) which is a fast growing POS company that offers; POS installation, remote assistance, and POS equipment sales. Installed POS equipment including; NCR, PAN (JS-950 and up), and PAR - Registers, Controllers and their respective components. Also, installing and configuring Veriphone CC readers for each register. Constructed Network Racks including; Patch Panels, 24 & 48 port Switches, Serial Hubs, KVM switches, and Lenovo BOS and POS servers. Ran, terminated, and certified Cat5e Home-runs from their source device to the BO (Back-Office) while adhering to cabling standards. Allocated IP address to all devices in the store and swiftly dealt with any and all IP conflicts that may have arisen during the process. Offered remote assistance using VMware to all stores with up-to-date contracts through SDI/MAPS.
