I have nearly a decade of experience building solutions both in a research and commercial capacity, with a focus on web development. This experience includes consulting with startups and assisting small businesses, as well as being the COO of my own startup. My specific proficiencies are listed in the "skills" section, but include general programming and data processing tasks, web development, and database design and implementation. I have a broad range of project experience, from assisting in building the largest public repository of declassified documents to helping assemble attendee guides for non profit fundraising events. I believe strongly in clear and consistent communication with clients, which ensures that the correct work gets done with as little fuss as possible. I do not believe in "selling up" — in my experience, clients are likely to ask for solutions that are more than they need, and I will work with them to find the optimal solution. Beyond a certain point, computers can be difficult for many people, especially when it comes to creating something useful with them. I recognize this fact and try my best to explain what can be arcane technical concepts in comprehensible language. The goal is to remove as much ambiguity, confusion, and worry from the interaction as possible.
