Proofreader with a REAL Voice

$15/hr Starting at $25

Hello, there! My name is Shannon. I've always enjoyed writing in school. I'm left-handed and practically write upside down. You know what I mean, right?! Many people really think it's neat! I was always that student who'd write more than I was supposed to. I mean, I really just want to get my point across! How am I going to do that without explaining myself? I enjoy writing blog posts because I get to tell a story. I can also tell someone how to do something they don't understand or know nothing about! THAT makes me a teacher. Which is pretty awesome to me. I tend to write in my own voice making everything personable and REAL to the reader. Sometimes, maybe a little too real. Proofreading is also nice for me because I have the opportunity to teach someone who may have made a mistake and didn't know before. Also, I tend to have an eye for mistakes made or maybe just to make the content run a lot more smoothly. I want the reader to feel like they can read with ease and not question what they just read. Reading aloud also makes correcting a lot easier in my opinion because I can really hear and understand better if the text doesn't flow. I'll also be able to catch spelling errors much more efficiently.
