As a recent graduate of an Honours degree in Psychology, I am looking for work involving research, article writing and editing. I intend to start my PhD in 2015, and would like to utilise my excellent writing skills by working as a freelancer. I have extensive experience as an English tutor, which has developed my skills as an editor and enhanced my ability to significantly improve a piece of writing. As a student who always excelled in English, Philosophy, History and Psychology, I am a talented writer, and am able to write for a wide range of purposes and modalities. I also have a proven ability to conduct scientific, historical and theoretical research, and synthesise this research to produce articles, literature reviews, essays, speeches and theses. With 7 years experience in debating, as well as four years experience as an adjudicator, I am very capable of composing and critiquing arguments; a skill which I believe to be imperative to high-quality writing. Perhaps most importantly, I love to write. I am passionate about maintaining high-quality written communication, across various areas and formats.
