Hi there, I am working as a full-time Sales & Business Development professional with a MNC based in Singapore. Occassionally, I have business trips to SouthEast Asia (SEA) countries such as Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia. I am in-charge of carrying out sales and business development activities such as visitting potential customers visitations, hosting and coordinating technical seminars, doing presentations, and many more. Before I join this company, I was in a dilemma. Not to brag about my achievement, but I would like to show you what is possible and how it can be done starting from writing a good resume. From February 2019 to April 2019, I attended interviews with ten companies, mix of SMEs and MNCs. After going through rounds and rounds of interviews, I obtained nine job offers from ten companies. This means that I achieved 90% success rate! The job offer which I accepted made my basic pay increase by 54% immediately, and I was promoted from a senior sales to sales managerial role as well. Now, talk is cheap. But, what I can show you is how a good resume can land you multiple interviews until you feel sick of endless inbound calls from recruiters. You even had to reject job openings which are not so attractive. YOU get paid for the values that you bring to the company. YOU get to bargain with companies what pay check you would like to draw. YOU get to choose what you want. YOU get to live a better life. Period.
