I am a full-stack web developer with a special interest in Ruby on Rails / Node.js. Test-driven development is at the core of all advanced web applications that I create in order to allow scalability. I'm also experienced in JavaScript and its frameworks, including Angular, and React. I started out my journey by pursuing a degree in Computer Security and Forensics. Throughout my first year of that, I developed a passion for code. I was introduced to markup and the basics at a young age but during my first year of college is when I really started to code with more advanced programming languages. In a college environment, it's not easy focusing solely on programming due to the many unrelated subjects required for obtaining a degree. After realizing what I really wanted to focus on was web development, I decided to switch gears. One year into that degree, I took an alternate route and attended Bloc where I was able to dive deep into web development as a whole and really understand each and every concept. Not only did I learn the prevalent technologies and languages at a high level, but I also acquired the skills to continue learning on my own. I'm hardworking, self-driven, and I develop end-products that my clients are beyond happy with.
