He stays up to date with the best-reviewed tools for marketing channel development, marketing success tracking, sales CRM's, email marketing, telephony systems, etc. He looks for things like pricing, scalability, integrations, and ease of use to recommend and/or integrate and customize these software tools for startups that are starting to sell or need an upgrade due to productivity loss or loss of visibility into what works and what doesn't as a revenue driver. This job is for those that want to a simple and inexpensive system for their sales team but don't want to spend hours of time listening to demo after demo trying to decide on the best sales and marketing software to start with or to add to their existing tech stacks.
