Security leader with 20+ years' experience across military, federal government, start-ups and Fortune 500 tech companies. Deep expertise in insider threat, fraud, corporate investigations and intelligence operations.
Experienced security and investigations leader with a strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams focused on protecting organizational assets, mitigating insider threats, and managing complex investigations across both technical and non-technical domains.
At OpenAI, I established and currently lead a team responsible for safeguarding proprietary information and mitigating risks related to insider activity. This includes building a capability of technical investigators to detect and respond to unauthorized disclosures, developing standardized investigative processes, and aligning efforts across HR, Legal, Compliance, and other business functions.
Previously at Uber, I directed global investigations for the Americas region, managing teams handling insider risk, fraud, IP theft, and other critical threats. I developed and implemented investigative frameworks, built an intelligence function to monitor high-risk activity, and played a central role in shaping data loss prevention and fraud detection strategies. My work included post-incident reviews to identify control weaknesses and drive systemic improvements, as well as coordinating closely with law enforcement and internal stakeholders to address safety and security concerns at scale.
Throughout my career, I’ve been a trusted advisor to leadership and cross-functional partners, helping organizations build resilient programs that support both operational effectiveness and long-term risk mitigation.
