Overall 8.5 years of IT experience and have 6 years experience in DB2 DBA. Have experience working for database in Production & Non – Prod Environments. Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment, including user/client interaction. Have Willingness and ability to quickly adapt to new environments and learn new technologies. Having thorough knowledge of RDBMS concepts with database programming skills. • Installation and Configuration of DB2 UDB 8.2/9.5/10.5/11.1 and system administration. • Experience in DB2 Version Upgrade from DB2 V8.x to V9.x and V10.x • Experience in DB2 SAP environment • Good exposure on DB2 fix pack upgrade. • Hands on experience on Backing up and Recovery strategies. • Experience in Data Maintenance Utilities like Reorgchk, Reorg, Runstats and DB2RBIND. • Good Knowledge on HADR. • Experience working on Data Movement Utilities like Export, Import, Load, db2move and db2look. • Experience in configuring TSM for db2 backups, Archival logs. • Worked on db2 utility tools such as db2pd, db2dart, db2support, db2top, db2inspect, db2advise, db2expln, db2diag etc. • Good knowledge and understanding of UNIX Shell Scripting. • Experience in developing Logical & Physical Data Models using Erwin 4.1 • Highly motivated team player with strong communication, analytical and inter-personal skills.
