The core of my professional experience is specifically full-stack software development. Since my first job in 2016 I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in numerous projects using a diverse technology stack. My work ranges from legacy technologies such as Java 6 and serial communications to latest versions of Java 17, Ionic framework using Angular, Swift in iOS, and React in JavaScript and TypeScript. Visualizing the user design has always been a crucial aspect when developing software, going as far as using legacy Java Swing to achieve a modern-feel design, and through hybrid mobile application development. My work at Laerdal Labs DC has more than prepared me in TypeScript and React technology stack where I have been building a variety of web applications, which involve PostgreSQL queries, Jest unit and integration testing, a couple of Electron webapps, and manipulating and controlling hardware. I describe my career as a test of adaptability and continuous learning. I am confident that any technologies I have yet to learn I will be able to do so and thrive
I can bring valuable insight and grow the foundational skills I have acquired through schooling to great effect. I have conducted UX research including interviews, surveys, focus groups, diary studies, and more. I have created low- to high-fidelity prototypes using wireframing tools such as Figma and Sketch. Creating platforms to best convey information and teach others lies at the heart of my professional goals and it would be an honor if I had the opportunity to apply my passion and skills to be a part of your project.
