I am an experienced C/C++ and Python Software Developer and Low-level Programmer with over 20 years' experience in IT. I have recently become an academic (I am currently a Lecturer at King's College London) but have continued in the industry. My experience in IT ranges from Natural Language Processing, to Machine Learning, Python, C, C++, R, Perl, Git, MySQL, mongodb, PostgreSQL, Nginx, Apache HTTP Server, XSLT, XML, docker, HTML, and CSS, django, bootstrap, puppet, documentation with markdown and pandoc/panflute, testing with selenium/marionette. As a low-level software developer I have worked with RS-232/488 (including multi-ports, single devices, realtime), Raspberry Pi, Arduino, PLCs, IEE, IEE 802.11 and different propietary interfaces for data adquisition. (e.g. PBX data coolection and management, DAC/ADC, alarms, scales, fiscal registers, iButtons/1-Wire networks, smart-cards, industrial scales, barcodes).
