I am an engineering and industrial design consultancy based in London. We have a strong background in medical device design and manufacture in the orthopaedic and cardiovascular sector, and aerospace microelectronics manufacturing. In todays world of 3d printing we have decided to invest in the latest 3d CAD software to match up with our 3d CAM software to enable us to produce real prototypes quickly on our 4-axis CNC mill. The reason for this is that the consistency, stability and availability of raw material is broader than is available for 3d printers today. Though it does not mean we do not use this technology. We have experience with working with start-ups, research institutions with fantastic ideas and SME requiring support for their products. Our projects vary depending on the needs of our customer with some choosing to work with us throughout our entire development process and others using a smaller part of our capability shown in Services. We have worked within the med-tech industry so are fully aware of the regulatory pathways with respect to ISO 13485:20XX and 93/42/EEC especially in the field of patient specific devices, and we are able to assist with this within a design brief.
