$5/hr Starting at $25

The "spy balloon", which the United States declared to collect information, observe and intelligence for China, and which Beijing claimed was for meteorological purposes, was recorded as a new test in the relations between the two countries.

A balloon seen over the USA has become one of the most important agendas of the world.

  • US shoots down Chinese "spy balloon" in airspace
  • Biden's first comment on Chinese balloon in US airspace: We'll take care of it
  • China owns the flying balloon, which the US describes as "espionage activity"
  • US Secretary of State Blinken delays Beijing visit over China's "spy balloon crisis"

The balloon floated over Alaska and Canada, appearing over the state of Montana, home to a number of sensitive nuclear missile sites, according to US officials.

The first statement from the Washington administration regarding the balloon was made on February 2. US Department of Defense officials announced that they were watching a giant surveillance bubble over the US. The Pentagon announced that the balloon, which entered the US airspace, was followed by a warplane.

US officials stated that the Biden administration was aware of the balloon before it entered American airspace.
