I provide survey design and analysis services, R development, research writing, statistical analysis, and data visualisation services for clients who need clear, reliable outputs from complex data.
I have extensive experience working with survey data, and can lead or assist with every stage of the process, from design, implementation, and cleaning, to analysis and presentation of results.
I am equally happy working with existing datasets to carry out statistical analysis, modelling, significance testing, prevalence estimates, demographic breakdowns, and reporting of results.
I have 18 years’ experience across data analysis, research, consultancy, financial analysis and R development, including a PhD in Social Statistics. I’ve worked with universities, charities, public sector organisations and private clients. Organisations I've worked with include the Alan Turing Institute, King's College London, University of St. Andrews, University of Manchester, and the Runnymede Trust.
I've worked as a management consultant, and use these skills to determine what is required to deliver a project before we start, so don't waste time going in the wrong direction. My academic work has been published in peer-reviewed academic journals, and as book chapters, so I am comfortable producing comprehensive outputs that can withstand the rigours of peer review.
Recent work includes automating survey analysis using R/Shiny, producing prevalence estimates using secure health survey data, and analysing large national social survey datasets.
