We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform professional to design and implement a robust Teams Check-In Flow using Power Automate. This solution will streamline team communication and attendance tracking by automating the daily or weekly check-in process within Microsoft Teams.
The ideal candidate will develop a user-friendly flow that initiates scheduled check-ins via Teams messages or adaptive cards. Users should be able to respond with a predefined set of statuses (e.g., Available, Working Remotely, On Leave), which are then captured and logged in a centralized SharePoint list, Excel file, or Dataverse for reporting and dashboard integration.
Key deliverables include:
A scheduled Power Automate flow triggered at specified intervals (daily, weekly, or custom).
Integration with Microsoft Teams to send automated prompts for check-in responses.
Use of adaptive cards or forms to ensure quick and easy user interaction within Teams.
Storage and organization of responses in a backend system for administrative tracking.
Optional notifications or reminders for users who miss their check-in.
A customizable summary report or dashboard to visualize team status over time.
The workflow should be designed with scalability, user experience, and administrative oversight in mind. Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Excel Online, Dataverse), Power Automate, and Power Apps is required. Understanding of role-based access, data governance, and flow error handling is essential to ensure a secure and reliable system.
This project is ideal for a Power Platform expert who can combine technical automation with a clear understanding of user behavior and organizational needs.
