Dr Kanak Kalita received his B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from RGTU, Bhopal, India; M.E and PhD in Aerospace Engineering and Applied Mechanics from Indian Institute of Engineering, Science & Technology, Shibpur, India. He has over 5 years of teaching and industrial experience. He worked at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, SVKM’s NMIMS, India as an Assistant Professor (Jun'14-Sep'16). Currently, he is with VJ Coresoft Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Software Engineer, where he works on developing and testing novel optimization algorithms. His areas of interest include Metamodeling, Optimization, Finite Element Method, Machine Learning, Fuzzy decision making and composites. He has published 50 SCI and 79 SCOPUS journal articles.
