I also use GIMP for image manipulation and editing, as it is more powerful than Photoshop and some other image manipulation software I've used. 15 years experience in IT, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and technology in general. I currently lack the resources to do GIS projects, and I am pursuing freelance writing and technical writing as a means of generating a second income.
