Travel and tourism is the largest service industry in India. It provides heritage, cultural, business tourism. The main objective of this sector is to develop and promote tourism, maintain awareness of India as tourist destination and improve and expand tourism products to increase employment generation and economic growth. India has a very bright future in tourism.There should be tourism app which is accessible by the new entriants and quaries must be solved in no time.There should be private tour agents who can give thorough knowledge about tour ,hotels, transportation and sightseeing. Till now, tourism is in some political person and are not giving full service to new entriants. Some suggestions can be given for bright future of tour and travel industry- 1.Every Govt./private department should give LTC after every 2 years and it should be must for every employee. For this, department can send employees & their family by giving them free different packages with all expenses and it should be liberal for employee and his family to go together or alone at any time or different destination..Besides this,Govt./private industry pensioner should be allowed to same facility as to employees. Businessman/his employees & their family should have same facility and these expenses should be excluded from their annual income with some limit 2.There should be private tour agents ,who can guide their customers in details for the benefit of their commission. In this way, there will be less burden on govt. departments dealing in tours and travels. 3.There should be private guide also ,who can guide the tourists in details e.g. sightseeing,hotels and transportation. Besides this, they can make their tour, who have not taken tour package. 4.Tours/travels should not be costly i.e. there should be rail/bus concession,low rates of hotels rooms and food therein, cheap tickets of heritage places, so that everyone can afford easily. 5.Tour places/hotels and food should be neat and clean. 6.Foregioners should be given same facilities,so that they can visit these places easily and without fear. Taking into consideration the above suggestions, tour and travel industry can improve many times.and in this way, income and employment will increase manifold.
