I have studied translation and interpretation at the Faculty of Languages and Translation, Al-azhar University, and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Simultaneous Interpretation. In 2015, I obtained the Foundation Certificate in Translation and Interpreting (FCTI) from The American University in Cairo. My work consists in translating, editing and proofreading documents from English into, my mother tongue, Arabic. I am familiar with CAT tools (such as SDL Trados and MemoQ) and I have completed many translation tasks by SDL Trados. My areas of expertise include general, law, business/financial, marketing, website/software localization and subtitling. I have a considerable experience in subtitling as I have been working as a freelance subtitler for SDI Media since December 2017.
