I am a Hong Kong-based translator natively proficient in English and Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), providing services in both of these languages as well as Japanese. I specialize in the arts and humanities, in particular History and Music, with relevant experience in translating in a variety of fields, including literature, video games, IT, education, marketing and websites. In addition to translation, I am an experienced and proficient transcriptionist in English and Cantonese; I also provide audio translation services in these two languages. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts in History from The Pennsylvania State University, with minors in Japanese and Music Studies. In my evil second life outside of translation, I am an active choir conductor, music teacher and collaborative accompanist, conducting a small adult community choir in Hong Kong and providing training in aural skills and music theory to students of all levels, from beginners to other music teachers.
