I am 100% bilingual, professional translator English-Spanish / Spanish-English and English teacher as a second language currently working in Colombia after 30 years spent working in the United States. My work experience in the last years has been in the education and translation areas. I have experience translating documents, e-mails, brochures, short and long books, manuals, web sites and transcription and translation of documentary and educational videos, live updates and other events where the speaker doesn't speak Spanish. I also have experience in the technical field related to quality control and regulatory affairs in the medical devices, pharmaceutical, electronic, aerospace and defense. For the last 22 years I held various positions including Quality Control Manager for a major manufacturing company where translation of general and technical items was one of my specialties. I have created complete Quality Management Systems both in English and Spanish, including operating procedures, general instructions, technical cards, reports, transcriptions, customer service, audits.
