My professional summary I am in the software industry for more than two decades now and have quit full time job recently and am looking for freelancing work which I can do from home. The range of my work roles is from 'Programmer' to 'Project Manager' and most of the hands on work I did in my career is to deal with the databases and SQL. I also am reasonably experienced in testing, documentation, technical writing etc. which are some of the duties I performed in my various job roles. Worked primarily in Microsoft and Oracle technologies like sql server, plsql, .NET, C# etc. The clients I worked with are mostly from the US and Europe, with some clients in India. I worked in different quality environments like ISO, CMM and with organizations that had absolutely no quality standards too! I have good communication skills and language skills (both written and spoken) in English. Other than coding, I have spent a considerable amount of time over the last two decades in coordination and facilitation work as I mostly worked in an off-shore and onsite-offshore environments. I have left my full time job recently as I wanted to avoid daily commute and achieve a greater work life balance and am looking at working full time or part time from home. I am available immediately and am open to commute/travel as and when required. I am very excited and looking forward to this new career of working from home and wish to get started at the earliest.
