I have been in the digital world for over 7 years, beginning as a computer programmer, entering employment as a digital designer, then made the shift into editing, animation and video. After I left Lighthouse I spent over a year and a half as the multimedia producer for a global NGO. I was based in the Philippines after Typhoon Haiyan, but I soon began to be deployed to major disasters before or immediately after they happened to produce videos, photography and articles to ensure donations and help the disaster stay in the news as long as possible. While at this NGO I managed a group of interns, who were based in the Philippines, the States and Africa. I produced and oversaw media campaigns and managed the social media for the entire organisation. These campaigns included print design, photography, videography, articles and animations. The last disaster I responded to was the Nepal earthquake and while I was there the second one happened and being on the ground immediately helped the organisation the highest number of donations they had ever received in over ten years, making over half a million dollars in only 10 days.  Since returning from disaster zones I have been freelancing as a videographer, editor, photographer and animator for the past 8 months. I am not a freelancer who just arrives for a day shoot and leaves.
