I choose to work with them because first i requested an small animation sample of my project and i received a sample that was done professionally in flash. I requested one animated page, they made 3. That made me feel they knew the technique, it was not a struggle for them to complete what i requested, as well they were willing to make an effort to make me happy.
The flash animation was done well, they add some animation elements, I like most of them and i keep them. Sometimes I made comments about things i didn't like, they correct them easily. I didn't have to repeat twice about the same changes. I ask once, next time i got what i was looking for. It helps to write a clear email of what you like or not, and how you want it.
They keep me updated with samples during the process, - that helps a lot. I was able to understand what was going on, and make comments.
Plus i changed what i didn't like.
In general for me was a good experience to work with them, I knew what i wanted, they delivered it without problems. I would like to work again with them.
Recommendations: ( I guess this comments works for other developers as well)
- It's extremely helpful to know what you want, and be clear and take your time explaining them. With images or graphics... samples etc.
- Be open to the changes or ideas they propose, for example. the first sample they make a blue background.. and i wanted black, my client saw it and she love it! she felt was fresh and light.
- Keep a good communication, writing emails, explaining, asking questions. Don't get frustrated, if you don't see the things you want right away, the project is on process. So use the samples to request, clear things out and remind them what you want to see.
- For me technical skills is extremely important. So, I felt with them that they know what they are doing so you can work things out.
