I have been designing and building websites since 1993. Starting with hand-coded HTML and Netscape 1.0, I am now also building sites with Drupal, PHP and SQL.
Along the way I've managed projects and built sites with other programming and design team members. These sites have ranged from a basic HTML site of a few pages, to data driven sites containing thousands of products.
Prior to the desktop computer, I was designing and laying out print ads, brochures and issues of trade magazines using paste-ups and mechanicals. When DTP software came along, I transitioned into using QuarkXpress, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop instead of my XActo knife and hot wax. When the world wide web appeared, I began transforming my designs into websites, and learned to hand code HTML, launching an entirely new career.
