I do most of my favorite works in Joomla though I also build WordPress sites and a host of other CMS websites. Some of my sites that I can use as samples are axiomcycles dot com which also has some examples of my writing, nohoax dot com, conservativefifty dot com and inewsunlimited dot com. I am comfortable with OSCommerce and ECommerce and can even hire people locally if there is a great deal of inventory that must be input manually. I do however, do all of my own writing and all of my writing is original, edited and ready for publication upon receipt. If there is anything I am not overly familiar with, it is Drupal though it has been my experience that when it comes to plugins and extensions, the Joomla Platform is much better maintained as are the extensions making it easier to keep sites up and running even during updates. Why do all the sites look so similar? Because with Joomla you have numerous options. The template blanks or previews show all of the options being used. You can place both columns on the left, both on the right, use top menus and no columns or adjust it in any myriad number of ways to suit your needs.
