I am currently a WGST major and PAS minor which requires me to do various forms of reading and writing such as research, creative, persuasive, monologues, and analysis writing. I've taken English classes here at the University of Louisville where i've received nothing lower than a B+ in the course. Writing in one of my strongest skills and i enjoy doing it. I know how to sell with words. I am great with social media. I have some of the post popular social media accounts: Skype, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, and Snapchat. While others may use Social Media as a personal diary, I use it as a way to network with people without having to contact them via home or phone. Social media is where i promote events that I'm having, stay in the loop with other peoples events, learn about things that haven't been covered in the new, meet people with the same interest as me, and find opportunities to be active in my community. Social media is a great way to promote yourself, your brand, and/or your business. I am great at social media and using it to the best of its ability. Currently, I am the event coordinator for a campus organization called Empowering Ladies Together. My duties are to plan events and make sure that they fall through. I am responsible for speakers, food, entertainment, clothing/attire, location, etc. I am comfortable with taking charge and making sure things are completed in the manner it should be. I enjoy doing this because I adore seeing peoples visions come alive. This is one of the places i use mt project management skills. Project management to me means making a proposal for an event, doing what is necessary to ensure that works as far as materials, participants, location, venders, etc. I work hard in making sure things get done and do not stop until it is done.
