I graduated with a bachelor's degree in writing. While I was a student I was able to take part in multiple platforms for writing, including working with my school's creative arts journal as an editor, contributing to the school newspaper, and taking part in multiple writing projects, both in group and individual settings. I interned under the grant writer of an international development nonprofit, and found a true desire to work with nonprofits and NGOs. Overall, I hold a strong commitment to the power of stories and their capacity to create change.
