I love to hear the music of language and to write like I am composing music. Creative non-fiction should be my best genre because I am a voracious auto-didact and a hopelessly original thinker. I have written most creatively about my travels and other experiences--essays mixed with my unique brand of humor and insight into culture, psychology, and the many other topics I weave into my writing. My textbook chapters, academic articles, and short informative articles are also informed by the diversity of my interests and my commitment to artful language. Masterful grammar should go without saying.
