Work Terms
Payment Terms & Milestones
To ensure a smooth and secure project for both parties, I work primarily through Guru’s SafePay escrow system using clearly defined, deliverable-based milestones.
For Fixed-Price Projects: A minimum 25% to 50% deposit in SafePay is required before project kickoff, with the remainder funded and released upon the completion of agreed-upon milestones (e.g., Wireframes ➔ Initial UI Concepts ➔ Final Hand-off).
For Hourly Projects: I track time accurately using Guru's tracker tool with clear memos detailing the specific design tasks completed.
Revision Policy
Your satisfaction is my priority. Every standard contract includes 2 to 3 rounds of revisions during the design phase. Revisions apply to tweaking layouts, typography, colors, and fine-tuning the selected concept. Major changes to the project scope mid-project will be handled via a separate, mutually agreed-upon milestone.
Communication & Updates
Availability: Monday to Friday (Standard business hours, flexible to accommodate overlapping time zones for international clients).
Channels: I provide regular updates directly through Guru’s message board. I am also available for milestone review calls via Zoom or Google Meet if required.
Response Time: I typically respond to all messages within 12–24 hours.
Project Deliverables & Ownership
Upon the 100% completion of the project and full release of payment, full ownership and intellectual property rights of the designs are transferred to you. You will receive:
Fully organized, developer-ready Figma source files (.fig or shared link) featuring clean component hierarchies and design styles.
Exported assets in your requested formats (PNG, SVG, PDF, etc.).
