Expert Mobile/Watch/Web App Engineer - Full Solution Planning, Design, Architecture, & Development.
I have extensive experience as a lead software engineer as well as an engineering manager. Specifically, I have expertise in native iOS (Objective-C & Swift 1.0/2.0) (iPhone and iPad) & Android development. Currently, I'm the Mobile Engineering Lead @ DLATV. Prior experience includes a Director of Mobile development at ACTV8 where I built out and lead a team to the building of ACTV8's AudioFingerprinting platform. Enhancing my theoretical computational knowledge, I lead the R&D of the proprietary platform (signal processing, FFT, filters, machine learning). This technology was used by TV shows such as New Girl, Glee, Glee Project, Celebrity Apprentice, So You Think You Can Dance, The Voice.
In addition to my technical toolset, I've worked with startups in the Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles to build out top-notch rockstar engineering teams. This includes forming a hiring/interviewing/onboarding process, team building process, implementing Adaptive Agile environments with Scrum & Kanban, forming industry best practices as the teams backbone, cohesive teams, development & project management tools, and many other aspects for building an industry standard rockstar team.
