Heavy is the hand that holds the pen

Words matter, so here are some of mine. I am a learner and a creator.

I consider myself a strategic creative— someone who can't help but create things (on or off the job) and make them for impact. At work, I think outside of the box but am driven by purpose and vision. I feel most alive when working with BIG ideas and alongside wickedly talented people, so I strive to create these opportunities in my life every day.

From classroom educator curriculum writer tech sales communications to a freelance writer who loves working with clients, I have compounded what I've learned from my experience into the impacts of my work. I enjoy writing most on topics within business (wide-ranging), education k-12 & higher ed, as well as policy (I have an MA in poli sci and public policy). I also am talented in the areas of resumes and cover letter writing and know all the industry standards for these materials.

From a young age, people recognized my talent for writing. It comes naturally and never fails to engage me. All credit due to first being an avid reader who learned the magic of words!

Work Terms

In addition to freelancing, I work remotely in tech. My hours are flexible, and I build my schedule around my cumulative workload.

I am on mountain time (MST)— literally, I can see the mountains from my house in Denver, and I love it.
