About

Creative, imaginative, organised and self-motivated lead UX designer and front-end developer. Perfectionist but strongly focused on product delivery.

I have been working as UX designer and front-end developer for over 6 years and I have built many successful products which are used by thousands of people every single day. I am passionate about code, design and UX – I love how even small changes can drastically improve users’ engagement and general satisfaction.

My design process is fairly straightforward and it’s documented on my website. In terms of my technical skills, here is a quick summary:

JavaScript - I have done some side projects in vanilla JS with OOP principles but I do like to shorten my development time using Angular.js. I am working with various other libraries on daily basis, mainly jQuery, Underscore, Moment, Handlebars and Highcharts. I have also learnt CoffeeScript syntax some time ago and I quite like it. I tend to write unit tests using Jasmine and Karma as my test runner.
CSS and HTML - I wrote countless lines of cross-browser code, including IE6+. I am also a big fan of BEM style naming convention and Inverted Triangle architecture by Harry Roberts.
Grunt is my preferred build tool; I have been using it for over a year now.

Although design and front-end development are my main skills, I also have experience in other fields, such as:

Leading and managing projects from early discussions to the product releases.
Architecting front-end on a large single page application.
Establishing brand guidelines.
Coaching and mentoring colleagues.
