I'm Akshat Mishra, a Computer Science student at VIT Bhopal with a passion for building full-stack web applications that solve real problems. Currently maintaining an 8.58 CGPA, I've spent the past couple of years diving deep into the MERN stack and modern web technologies.
What drives me is creating products that people actually want to use. My recent project, PrepWise, is an AI-powered interview prep platform that uses voice interactions to help candidates practice—it's been really rewarding to see engagement jump by 60% after implementing real-time feedback features. I've also built Imagify, an image processing app that handles hundreds of images monthly, and a job portal that connects job seekers with opportunities.
I love the problem-solving aspect of development, which is probably why I've solved over 500 DSA problems on LeetCode and GeeksForGeeks. I'm comfortable across the full stack—from designing responsive UIs with React and Tailwind to building scalable backends with Node.js and MongoDB.
Hackathons are where I thrive. I've placed in the top 9 out of 500+ teams at Summer CodeFest, reached the finals of Smart India Hackathon 2024, and secured 3rd place at CodeX by CISCO. These experiences taught me how to work under pressure and turn ideas into working products quickly.
I'm always learning and exploring new technologies—recently I've been working with Next.js, TypeScript, and AI integrations. I believe in writing clean, maintainable code and building products that make a genuine impact.
