Work Terms
To ensure a smooth, transparent, and successful collaboration, I adhere to the following standard working terms:
1. Communication & Availability
Channels: All primary communication, project milestone updates, and file exchanges must be conducted through the Guru platform to maintain a secure and documented record.
Response Time: I am highly responsive and typically reply to messages within a few hours during business days. For urgent project updates, clear communication windows can be aligned before starting.
2. Project Input Requirements
Briefing: To ensure absolute precision from the start, clients must provide clear project requirements, drawings, or existing files.
Source Files: Depending on the service requested, please provide clean, legible files whether they are PDFs, scanned sheets, or point cloud data.
3. Payment Terms & Milestones
For fixed-price projects, I require the project funds to be securely deposited into Guru’s SafePay escrow before any drafting or modeling work begins.
Milestone Structure: For larger projects, work will be broken down into clear, measurable milestones. Payment is released upon the successful delivery and approval of each phase.
Hourly Tasks: For ongoing coordination or BIM management, tasks can be managed via Guru’s hourly tracker with pre-approved weekly hour limits.
4. Revisions & Scope Changes
Every contract includes a standard number of minor adjustments (to be agreed upon in the initial proposal) to fine-tune the final deliverables to your exact liking.
Significant modifications to the core architectural design or structural layout made after a milestone is approved will be treated as a change in project scope and invoiced as a separate milestone or hourly task.
5. Deliverables & Intellectual Property
Final files will be delivered in the formats required by your workflow (e.g., .rvt for Revit models, .dwg for AutoCAD drawings, or .pdf for presentation packages).
