Dr Haliza have more than 30 years of teaching mathematics at the pre-university and undergraduate levels. She had helped thousands of students succeeding in mathematics. She has her unique strategies of teaching mathematics in making sure that students understand the mathematical concepts and apply them to solve problems.
She goes beyond memorization and connects students to ways they use mathematics in their daily activities, thus helps to develop their critical thinking.
She helps students to visualise the problems by encouraging them to draw problems out of themselves.
She uses the ‘why’ to reason the underlying logic behind the mathematics formulae and processes.
She encourage students to collaborate in order to stimulate their creativity for multiple ways/methods when solving mathematical problems.
