Youth Development & Livelihoods Consultant | Programme Design, SRHR and Entrepreneurship
My career is driven by a belief that every young person deserves the knowledge, confidence and opportunities needed to build a better future.
I am a Programme and Youth Development Professional with experience in livelihoods, entrepreneurship, SRHR, HIV prevention, reproductive justice and community empowerment. At Restless Development Tanzania, I have supported programmes for underserved young people, including out-of-school youth, adolescent girls and first-time young mothers.
My work has involved mobilizing participants, facilitating training, preparing implementation plans, coordinating stakeholders and connecting young people with vocational education, financial institutions, healthcare services and government opportunities. I have worked closely with community leaders, local authorities, health teams, civil-society organizations and development partners.
One of my proudest achievements has been supporting 120 first-time young mothers to access training and opportunities, including linking 60 participants with financial services and entrepreneurship education. I have also contributed to a livelihoods initiative designed to equip 300 young people with the skills and confidence to establish sustainable agri-enterprises.
My core values are integrity, inclusion, respect, accountability and service. I believe development programmes are most effective when young people participate in shaping the solutions intended for them. I therefore bring a youth-centred, gender-responsive and practical approach to every assignment.
Outside my professional work, I enjoy continuous learning, connecting with people from different backgrounds and exploring new ideas in leadership, entrepreneurship and social development. I am dependable, collaborative and committed to delivering work that creates meaningful, measurable change.
Work Terms
Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. East Africa Time (EAT/UTC+3). Evening or weekend availability may be arranged for urgent assignments, international clients or scheduled meetings.
Communication: I prefer clear, professional communication through Guru messages or email. Online meetings may be arranged when necessary. I normally respond within 24 hours on business days and provide regular progress updates throughout the assignment.
Payment Terms: All payments should be processed through Guru SafePay. Fixed-price projects require funded milestones before work begins, with payments released after approval of each agreed deliverable. Hourly assignments will be billed according to the approved working hours.
Project Scope: The deliverables, timeline, budget and expectations must be agreed upon before the project begins. Requests outside the original scope may require an adjusted fee and delivery date.
Revisions: Two reasonable revisions are included for fixed-price assignments, provided they remain within the agreed scope. Additional revisions may be charged separately.
Delivery: I am committed to submitting accurate, professional work within the agreed timeframe. Clients are requested to provide clear instructions, relevant documents and timely feedback.
Confidentiality: All client information, programme documents and organizational data will be handled professionally and kept confidential.
