About

Energy and Climate Policy & Data Analyst. What I do is turning data into something meaningful to help Decision-Makers take the timely and right actions.

He worked as a Policy Analyst at the Science and Commercial Sections of the German Embassy in Cairo. He also worked as a program manager of Cairo Climate Talks in 2018/2019. He has working experience in international organizations such as UNFCCC and IRENA in climate technologies and finance, and power sector transformation in 2015-2016. Prior to that, he worked as a Project Engineer at the Engineering and Science Services Department of the American University in Cairo (AUC) from 2010-2013. He also worked as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the Mechanical Engineering Department of the AUC from 2010-2012. Moreover, he cofounded bdiver-community in Egypt in 2013.
Amr holds an M.Sc. in Sustainable Resource Management from TU München, an M.Sc. in Power Engineering from the AUC, and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Ain Shams
