I was born in Seoul, Korea and graduated with a Master's degree in Education from Seoul National University in 1996. Since then, I had been teaching English as a second or foreign language at Korean universities for more than 15 years. Until the last five years, I have had vast experiences in freelancing as Korean-English translator in literary works, advertisements, brochures, certificates, commercial correspondence, company profiles, and websites. I also have had many opportunities of interpreting in 1:1 business talks, exhibitions, and trade fairs. Besides doing translation work, teaching Korean language to bicultural families and foreign migrant workers as a volunteer was also a part of my life.
