Teaching effective analytical thinking through Mathematics

I teach high school mathematics to children and young adults, by using pattern-spotting and problem solving techniques. Having worked in finance for many years, I relate mathematics to developing analytical and decision-making skills. By using multiple representation and ICT techniques I strive to make abstract mathematical concepts understood on a deep level.
