While my background is varied, and includes a good deal of technical design and implementation experience, my greatest area of interest is in getting a great product to market.

I enjoy the process of understanding the user, coming up with ways to enhance a product, and translating customer needs into technical requirements. I have performed customer interviews, customer focus groups, and competitive research. I have led Quality Function Deployment teams, interfaced with subject matter experts to glean important facts and information, and acted as a liaison between development, sales, marketing, customers, and executives.

I have a proven ability to come up to speed very quickly on any kind of product, have excellent analytical and writing skills, and can effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and technical people alike.

What I can bring to your project is a level of organization around how the technical features of your product are organized and deployed, making sure that you are satisfying customer wants and needs, as well as positioning your product in the competitive landscape. I am very experienced with working with technical developers, database developers, and quality assurance engineers, and communicate well with everyone on the team. The Product Manager role exists to help coordinate all personnel who contribute to the successful deployment of a great product.

Work Terms

I can work on an ad hoc basis, and will come up with a working plan to fit into your needs and budget. Depending on what is required of your project, we can work either on a retainer basis, or an hourly basis. I think the best initial course of action is an exploratory meeting where I can discover all of what you need to do, and we can lay out a plan to get that done within the confines of your budget and your team.

I enjoy communicating via zoom, email, and Slack, but I'm open to other communication as needed.
