Writing: from the heart and the head
I have recently begun my foray into freelance writing and have subsequently started my own blog. I have a love of travelling, food and cooking and enjoy communicating my experiences through writing. I have so far had 3 paid articles published and have just completed my first freelance writing jobs for blogs and websites. Please see www.gingergoneglobal.com for examples of my work.
A little bit of background about myself, I have been travelling since I finished university back in 2009, when I spent a year working and travelling around the USA. I started a whole new life in a country where I knew no one and learnt more about myself than anyone else would ever care to know. Since that first rowdy, scary, intimidating, exciting, Disney-filled trip, I have travelled with my now-husband through South-East Asia, Indonesia, Australia and around our home country of New Zealand. I also love food and photography, and include lots of photos and recipes on my blogs and in my writing. I feel I would be an asset to you writing about travel and food. I am a preschool teacher and have written several articles about children and teaching.
