Turning field data into trusted results — from school/community level to state level | M&E & DQA Specialist | Excel | Google Sheets | 8 years INGO experience
I am a Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and Data Quality Assurance (DQA) specialist with over 8 years of progressive INGO experience across Lagos, Ogun, Oyo and Abuja, Nigeria.
My Journey:
I joined my organisation in 2017 as a Program and Operations intern, where I was already involved in treatment data monitoring — tracking, reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of program data from the field. I became a full staff member in 2019, continuing my data monitoring responsibilities alongside operational support. In 2021, I formally transitioned into the M&E department, where I have since deepened my expertise in data quality assurance, field supervision and stakeholder training.
What I Do:
Design and build custom DQA workbooks in Excel and Google Sheets
Train enumerators and IM firms on good data collection practices and remodel approaches
Supervise data collection teams at primary school, ward and LGA levels
Conduct Data Quality Assessments (DQA) and train state stakeholders on best practices
Train state Ministries of Health and Education on filling treatment registers correctly
Clean, triangulate and analyse program data using Excel and Google Sheets
Create data visualizations and dashboards for clear and actionable reporting.
My Coverage:
As a Southwest Associate, I work across multiple Nigerian states including Lagos, Ogun, Oyo and Abuja (FCT), giving me broad exposure to diverse field implementation contexts, government structures and data reporting systems.
Why Work with Me:
I do not just analyze data from a desk. I have been in the field — at the school level, at the ward level, at the LGA level — supervising data at its source, identifying errors before they travel up the reporting chain, and training the people responsible for collecting it. My understanding of real-world field data challenges is what separates me from a typical data analyst.
I bring precision, accountability and genuine field experience to every project I take on. Whether you need a DQA workbook built, your data cleaned and analysed, your team trained, or your program data visualized for reporting, I am ready to deliver.
I am based in Ibadan, Nigeria and available for remote freelance work globally.
