I am a Creative and Academic Writer who is very versatile when it comes to writing. I proofread/edit and give professional advice for CVs, statements of motivation and research proposals.

I am a PhD candidate in Creative Writing at the University of Birmingham (UK). I have an MA in Creative Writing from the same institution. I completed my BA in English Language and English Literature at the Eastern Mediterranean University (Cyprus) obtaining a First Class Honours.
I have previously worked at an online newspaper firm (KP Daily News) as a professional editor, proofreader and translator. My role included; picking out the most interesting and relevant news to upload onto the website, identifying and correcting spelling mistakes, typos, grammatical inaccuracies, punctuation and issues with the structure, in order to bring each piece of news to a perfect standard for publication on the newspaper's website.
I have also worked for Amazon, where I wrote lengthy product articles and short product descriptions on a variety of products from baby carriers to gym equipment and dog kennels.
I have written several biographies and 'About Us' sections for blogs and websites, as well as contributed creatively to blogs in the form of posts.
I have undertaken the marking of IELTS, TOEFL, GAMSAT and undergraduate (humanities) essays.
I currently work as a mentor at the University of Birmingham, where I give professional advice on how to write successful CVs, cover letters, university admission letters, personal statements, statement of motivations, research proposals (for postgraduate degree applicants).
Throughout my education, I have completed several creative and academic pieces, including: two novels, a short story collection, articles, essays, reviews of books and films and a screenplay. Many of my short stories and articles have been published in the University of Birmingham’s literary journals.
I have a strong knowledge of research as during my 8 year journey in higher education, the vast number of texts I have written cover a broad range of topics, from psychology, sociology, politics, world literature, linguistics, critical analysis, archaeology.
