I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and worked for a few years as a computer engineer for a hotels company that owns eight hotels in Almadina, KSA, especially as a hardware and software troubleshooter and supporter and network technical supporter.
However, it is one of my interests, but I wanted to experience new fields.
I worked then in the Industry of Hotel where you can meet and get to know new people every day.
For almost three years, I was responsible for the sales and marketing of hotels, besides managing the reservations.
In 2014, I moved to an American travel agency doing Islamic tourism; and because I was staying in Saudi Arabia, I was a part of the Hajj and Umrah operations.
My English language proficiency was a positive point to like this job and proceed to the upper positions from a Reservations Coordinator and Customer Service Agent until the Reservations and Operations Manager role.
After the Covid-19, I returned to Egypt because of the shutdown with many thoughts of what is coming next.
I always dreamed of having my own business, and because I used to be a Computer Engineer, I have tendencies to Computer business.
I decided to learn Digital Marketing fundamentals and improve my skills to work as a freelancer or a self-employed and even apply my learnings to turn business ideas into real private business.
I joined Egfwd for Digital Marketing by Udacity to learn more about Digital Marketing; and how I would apply the gained skills.
I got the certification of the first track after learning about Content Strategy and Marketing and freelancing.
I have finished the Social Media Marketing and Advertising, Email Marketing during my study in the second track and have done a successful project for each section.
Hopefully, I will get the certification at the professional level after I finish my third project.
