Successful NIH and private foundation grant writer with expertise in clinical research design and data analyses
I received my PhD in Neuroscience in May 2007 from the University of Iowa. While my doctoral research focused on sex differences in the effects of marijuana on driving, I was also active in mental health research projects including mood and cognitive changes in aging populations, and persons with schizophrenia, Huntington's or Alzheimer's diseases. I've taught Research Methods in Psychology at Central Connecticut State University and have expertise in functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and psychometric testing.
I have a history of successful grant writing, having received two NIH grants as well as several private foundation grants for medical research prior to starting my career as an independent grant writer.
