Betsy is a freelance filmmaker based in Los Angeles.

She grew up mostly in Silicon Valley, California, and for some years in Brussels, Belgium. Her engagements with visual art, creative writing, and music propelled her to pursue the art of motion pictures at the University of California, Los Angeles. She graduated with a degree in Film, TV, & Digital Media, but also studied English Literature and International Conflict Resolution.

Betsy most of all wants to direct and produce films with social relevance and universal significance. She is developing and fundraising for a feature documentary of her own to be produced in Northern Ireland.

She has traveled to the Middle East with an education non-profit organization. She has shot and edited promotional, documentary, and educational content, as well as served as a graphic designer.

In the film world, Betsy has worked in commercial production, at Lin Pictures at Warner Bros., and at Light Iron, a post-house in Hollywood. She also enjoys crewing in camera & lighting departments on set and editing fun videos.

Her hobbies are food blogging, illustration, and photo editing.
