UK-Based IT professional with extensive experience of project management, data analysis and developing Android apps and e-commerce web applications
For the past 10 years I have worked in some of the fastest growing technology companies in the UK, mostly using Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, MS Project)
Having managed international development teams I am aware of the frustration of hiring a contractor/freelancer only to find out that they can't deliver to a high standard. Having been on the other side of the deal I always try to under-promise and over-deliver and will be very clear from the start if there is any aspect of a project I am not 100% comfortable with.
My web development experience comes from both project management and hands-on development with several large projects. Most of the projects I have worked on have been managed using the Agile methodology and Microsoft technologies. I am comfortable with HTML, CSS, Javascript, ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server and Visual Studio and building full end-to-end systems or simple websites.
My Android development experience has largely been working alone on smaller app projects. Mostly building native Android apps using Eclipse, Java, XML. The apps I have built support small, medium and large screens with different layouts for each and support full network communication to a cloud back-end with a web portal.
My data analysis experience comes from building management information systems for various businesses using Excel, Access, VBA and SQL Server. I can build solutions from simple Excel spreadsheets using in-built functions to complex SQL Server databases with web front-ends.
Work Terms
Hours of Operation: Although based in the UK, I can be available at any time. I usually work 8 hours per day, but am happy to extend that for urgent projects.
Payment: Payment is usually expected within 3 days of work being delivered.
